Stronger Together

It’s hard to believe that Saturday would have been our debut show. So much has changed since we started this project. Certain “priorities” do not seem as important anymore, we have friends and family that are ill and some even fighting for their lives. This is a very trying time for everyone. Emotionally, physically, financially and even mentally.

We thought about doing a live set on Facebook but then quickly realized that would be very irresponsible on our end. We want to keep everyone entertained, have some peace, and enjoyment, yet still help flatten the curve. It’s not easy. We know that fellow musicians and bands want to play and in some cases, it’s their only source of income; however, we have to think of the health of our loved ones and do our part to help lessen the blow of this pandemic. Bobby and Charity recorded a couple of acoustic versions of different songs and they have 2 more to be posted. It is our hope to do a video with the entire band (all individually from their own home) and post it in the next week or 2 to bring you some cheer and joy.

We will all get through this together and in the end, things will not be the same. It will be a new beginning, a time for re-connection, a time to come together and lift each other up and a time to rebuild in all aspects. I know we can do it. It seems scary now and may even feel downright impossible but it’s not. That is a promise.

Stay positive, friends. Stay connected. We are so incredibly lucky to have social media, smartphones, the internet, and so many ways to connect virtually. Had this happened 20 plus years ago, we would have been so disconnected and felt incredibly alone. As hard as it may seem to see the brighter picture, that is a huge blessing. We love all of you and miss everyone terribly but let the music bring us together, bring us some peace and bring us some happiness and help us get through this.

We will see you soon

“Music does bring people together. It allows us to experience the same emotions. People everywhere are the same in heart and spirit. No matter what language we speak, what color we are, the form of our politics or the expression of our love and our faith, music proves: We are the same.”

― John Denver
